Burial Warfare Overview
Stay bold and fearless, for a nighttime stroll through the cemetery awaits, where you’ll feel more than just the massive, mesmerizing moon staring back at you. After all, this is the Night of the Living Dead, and it’s shaping up to be an incredibly long and breathtakingly intense journey.
Burial Warfare is a 6-reel, 4-row slot featuring: two teams for you to choose, along with Wild, Explosive, and Scatter symbols, a Stash Opening minigame, a Loss Bonus, and Free Spins. Before the gameplay starts, you pick your side: Humans or Zombies. You can switch teams at any time, and symbols matching your chosen team deliver higher wins. There are also team-specific symbols. These appear for both sides but are color-coded to their team, and their payouts are tripled. Human and zombie thumbs-up symbols serve as Scatters; depending on your team selection, three or more Scatters on the reels trigger a round win for one side or the other. If your team wins the round, you receive a Loss Bonus and a chance to open a Crate (Coffin) containing an extra reward.
Inside the crate are all symbols on the screen with reward value, plus the Jackpot symbol (a bonus symbol where the reward equals the sum of all rewards multiplied by 10). Opening the crate lets you win one of these bonus rewards, with its special value listed in the rules under "stash."
Three enemy Scatter symbols mean you lose the round. But don’t worry—each loss increases the Loss Bonus, which is paid out after a round win or a draw (when three Scatter symbols from both teams appear on the screen). The Loss Bonus starts at zero at the beginning of the demo and increases by bet/2 each time the opposing team wins. Once paid, it resets to zero.
Three consecutive round wins award you a massive 30 Free Spins! During Free Spins, Scatter symbols don’t appear on the reels, boosting your win rate.
To prevail in this clash, you have a wide arsenal of high-impact weapons. For example, dynamite explodes and destroys all non-allied symbols nearby; the team-neutral Bottle Rocket switches enemy symbols to Wild; and the Molotov/Acid Flask replaces adjacent horizontal and vertical symbols with Wilds.
